Mind coaching

A person’s mind is only an asset to a person if it is working in that person’s favour. But we are often subject to the mind’s many irrational thoughts. For example, we might think that everybody should see our point of view as we do. Or, we shouldn’t have to constantly deal with problems in our lives. Once we reject our responsibility to look after ourselves and everything we do, our mind is working against us rather than for us. What we must do first is recognise that we have control over our thoughts, emotions and behaviours. We can choose how we want to think about an upcoming competition. We can choose how we want to feel about an upcoming competition. And we can choose how we will behave in that competition. Once we accept that we are in charge of our own minds, success shall follow.
